FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Whom do I make check payable? CJE

2. What is the venue address? 2866 Georgia Highway 22, Sparta, GA 31087.

3. Is food or alcohol allowed on the premises? Yes. Only licensed cater and/or bartender vendors can provide services. A copy of license is due at the time of application.

4. What time can I enter the facility? You set your start time. Your rental is for a maximum of 8 hours. Event hours cannot start prior to 10:00AM and cannot go past 12:00AM.

5. Can I split my hours between setup and then comeback later for the event? No. You are responsible for the facility from setup through closing and cannot exceed 8 hours without incurring additional charges. Hourly rate is included on application.

6. Are tables and chairs included in the rental? Yes. Indoor and outside seating is included. CJE Foundation HQ – 72 off-white chairs, 6 – 6ft rectangle tables and miscellaneous tables. CJE Center – 132 white chairs, 12 white round banquet tables, 4 – 6ft rectangle tables, 5 high- boys and other miscellaneous tables.

7. Can the furniture such as tables and chairs be taken outside? No. Nothing can be removed from the building.

8. Is audiovisual include in the rental? No. Televisions, microphones or any other equipment are not included with rental.

9. Can I see the facility ahead of time? Every Friday starting at 4:00-6pm you can tour the facility or rehearse for 1 hour. We are open for business and you and your guest are welcome to join us for dinner. No outside food/beverages are allowed.

10. Can I have DJ music at my event? Yes, but the volume cannot disturb other events or neighbors. Music must be kept to a minimum and if there is a report of loud noise; your event will be cancelled.

11. Can I sell tickets at the door? No. CJE facilities are not intended for fundraising or making a profit but for private events.

12. Is ice available? Yes, we sell ice for $2.00-10lb bag or$3.00 for 2-10lb bags. Inform us at the time of application and include the cost in your total bill.

13. Can I cook on the premises? The inside kitchen is for warming foods only. You cannot grill on the outside unless you use a certified vendor. All ashes must be removed from the property and not dumped.

14. Can I use tape/pins on the wall? No. These items cause damages.

15. Can I have open flames i.e., candles? No. This is a safety hazard.

16. What do I do after my event is over? Make sure you gather all belongings, put all trash in trashcans (tie trash bags), turn off all lights and AC/Heat and secure the doors.

COVID-19 Guidelines apply. Limited to a maximum of 50 attendees inside the CJE Center and 25 inside the CJE Foundation HQ.
In compliance with State Health Department guidelines, events with food service must have ServSafe certified/licensed caterer where food prepared in a commercial kitchen. Food cannot be prepared at home per the Health Department guidelines. Bartenders must comply with Department of Revenue alcohol license/permit guidelines. Caterer and/or bartender must submit credentials to admin@cjefoundation.org as soon as possible or no later than one month prior to the event.

All forms of payment accepted. Cash App: $CJE00. Submit email address for invoice to pay by check, debit, or credit card.
Non-refundable 50% deposit required at time of application. Balance due as soon as possible or no later 2 weeks prior to the event or the event will be canceled.
Waterslides, large swimming pools and jumpers/inflatables are $25.00 per item for water and or electricity.

CJE reserves the right to place limits on the use of its property. I certify that the information provided on this form is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that providing false or misleading information is grounds for CJE to cancel or terminate my event. Submission of the form acknowledges your consent to this statement.
