Hillman Memorial Scholarship<\/em><\/strong> consideration, you must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be a graduating senior (2025-2026) from any high school and resident of Hancock County.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be accepted at an accredited four-year college or university.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exemplify CJEF&#8217;s motto, &#8220;Gives a Helping Hand!&#8221; through involvement at school and your community.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Awards:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scholarship Range:&nbsp; $1,000,&nbsp; Number of Awards:&nbsp; One or more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Selection Committee comprised of representatives from CJE Foundation Board of Directors shall make the selection of the scholarship recipient(s) and forward notice to your&nbsp; high school.&nbsp; The scholarship disbursement shall be made directly to the scholarship recipient(s) at the graduation ceremony.&nbsp; The scholarship must be utilized to support school related expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Complete this scholarship application package and upload required files with this application submission <strong><u>no later than May 31, 2026.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>To compete for the scholarship, CJE Foundation requires you to complete a one-page essay on \u201cWhat healthy foods you would like to see on our food service menu.\u201d<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<p>Students may use resources such as school administrators, counselors, teachers, parents, websites, etc. as background research but the essay must be original from the student.&nbsp; Students may only submit one entry.  Submissions including copyrighted material or the use of inappropriate\/vulgar language will be disqualified from the contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submissions will be considered for implementation on the CJE Foundation menu and website, the CJE Foundation Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages.&nbsp; All entries will be judged by the CJEF Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judging:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tips
